We first became aware of Howling Hops when drinking in the newly-opened Cock Tavern in Hackney around 2011-2012. With beer being brewed in the basement we were treated to a range of inventive styles on tap, which back then was not easy to find. Fast forward a few years and they've opened a tank bar, where beer is served direct from the tank rather than keg, and they're still pumping out interesting, generously hopped beers.
